GSEI Scope

Steel design, drafting, and field reviews of:

  • Modifications to transform an existing 76 m x 98 m (250 ft x 320 ft) railcar and locomotive building into a new transload facility warehouse, including new trusses to support loads from 17 modified columns

Concrete foundation design, drafting, and field reviews of:

  • 7,400 m2 (80,000 ft2) slab-on-grade
  • Grade walls, pedestals, misc. elements

GSEI acted as the coordinating registered professional – coordinating the structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines.

Test cut through column after new roof trusses installed
